For over 15 years, Melissa Cutlip has been developing and producing loud, engaging content across a variety of genres and formats. Her projects include TLC’s blockbuster hit My Strange Addiction, as well as pilots and series for virtually every major network group in the cable industry. From gritty cop follow docs to shows about people who eat their own couch, her breadth of experience covers (almost) every facet of the non-fiction content landscape.
In addition to developing and selling content, Melissa has served as an Executive Producer on a broad range of projects, overseeing them from the initial idea phase through network delivery. Her responsibilities as Executive Producer include production staffing, budgeting, legal compliance, network/client management, as well as creative oversight.
Prior to her career in television, Melissa worked in advertising for several large US based ad agencies.
Melissa currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida and has a BA in History and an MA in Journalism, both from The University of Michigan.
